After all that was spoken by the presenters at the launch of the LIHUP Initiative event, the Director first shared how the launch was made possible by financial donations from the Board and the staff as their commitment to support LIHUP. She then presented the five (5) year Business plan for LIHUP and made a passionate plea to get LIHUP started by calling on all those present to be the first supporters and donors of LIHUP. As Zambians and as local philanthropists, from the committals received, some were in terms of financial support, yet to be determined, others it was technical support and others committed Cash which came to a total of K9,300. So far these commitments of cash have started flowing into the LIHUP account. The funds will help kick start LIHUP Initiative. A long journey starts with one step. LIHUP has taken that step and now, the rest will build on what has been started.
